Meet Dr John Fairlie — Implant Dentist in Glasgow and Kilmarnock

Before training in dentistry, I worked as a scientist, completing degrees in Pharmacology and a Doctorate in Neuroscience. I qualified as a dentist in 2010 and spent nine years working in both NHS and private general practice. After completing further postgraduate training and a Master’s degree, I now focus primarily on dental implants, travelling across Scotland and Northern Ireland to provide this treatment.

My clinical work involves the placement and restoration of dental implants, along with the surgical procedures needed to help patients regain both their smile and their dental function.

I enjoy meeting patients from all walks of life and supporting them towards their treatment goals. Working across different locations allows me to help more people access the care they need.

My top tip:

While implant dentistry can transform smiles, nothing is better than your natural teeth — so listen to your hygienist and protect what you have.
