Meet Dr Strang — Dentist in Carluke
I graduated BDS from the University of Glasgow in 1979 and have worked in General Dental Practice ever since. Throughout my career, I have continued to stay up to date by attending a wide range of courses and ongoing professional development.
I have a particular interest in Oral Surgery, especially the removal of impacted wisdom teeth. With current hospital waiting lists being so long, I am able to help patients receive treatment sooner and relieve long-standing discomfort. I also regularly provide sedation, which allows anxious patients to receive the care they need in a calm and manageable way.
My top tip:
When dealing with peri-coronitis, gently irrigating under the operculum with chlorhexidine using a blunt-ended syringe can provide effective relief.
